Upcoming acoustic singer/songwriter Jessica Holz will be gracing the Edward St Stage in Queen Street Mall to deliver another fine signature performance as she continues to promote her debut EP.

Starting at 5:30pm, Jessica will perform three thirty minute sets featuring original tracks that showcase her trademark surfy guitar riffs and smooth mellow vocals.

Visiting fans and interested passers by will have the opportunity to purchase copies of the debut EP "In Darkness and In Light" from the merchandise table beside the performance area.

Local duo Orphan Ann will be joining the growing roster of local musical talent bringing the Queen Street Mall to life on Friday nights and weekends as part of QSM Live.

Orphan Ann will be appearing on Friday February 26th at the Cafe East stage and starting at 5:30pm will deliver three 30 minute sets of mellow folk/country tunes to the bustling crowds.

The duo will be performing a number of original tracks from their forthcoming debut EP and a selection of covers.

With her trademark complex pop vocals and dark poetic lyrics, Simone Pitot will be treating Brisbane's CBD to a special acoustic performance at Queen St Mall's (Edward St Stage) on Friday the 15th January starting at 5:30pm. Joined onstage by guitarist, vocalist and fellow band member Matthew Colin, the duo will be offering up acoustic translations of Simone's beautifully crafted original material.

Simone Pitot will be stepping out alone with a solo performance at Ric's Bar on the 6th January starting at 9:30pm. Departing from the musical tapestry of modern synth and dark electronica, Simone will be offering up acoustic translations of her original material and playing a selection of songs from her eponymous debut EP.

In the lead up to their debut album release in early 2010, Brisbane ensemble band Meadowfoot will be performing a limited number of shows beginning with the Late Show at The Troubadour on Saturday 21st November.

Describing their sound simply as "beautiful noise", Meadowfoot is comprised of a variety of local musicians from some of the city's most successful bands and solo artists spanning a range of genres and influences.
